Glendullan 2009/2025 Signatory Vintage 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of their Cask Strength Collection. This exclusive release comes from a single cask, specifically cask number 9, and has been finished in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, which has imparted deep and complex flavours to the whisky.
This 15-year-old whisky is bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.6%, ensuring a powerful and full-bodied experience. The Oloroso sherry maturation has enriched the whisky with intense notes of dried fruits, spices, and a velvety texture.
On the nose, it opens with inviting aromas of dark raisins, roasted almonds, rich caramel, and a hint of cinnamon. These scents create a warm and alluring introduction to the complex taste that follows. On the palate, the whisky is rich and mature, offering flavours of sherry-soaked figs, dark chocolate, nutmeg, and oak spices. The interplay between the sweetness of dried fruits and the depth of spices creates a well-balanced and luxurious dram.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness from the dried fruits and subtle tannins that gradually fade into a rounded note of toasted oak.
