In this selection, we have brought together three generous and fruit-forward Demi-Sec champagnes that show just how elegant a medium-dry champagne can be. Here, ripe fruit, soft bubbles and a fine balance of sweetness and freshness come together beautifully. This is a package for those who want champagne with a little more roundness and charm – perfect for desserts, festive occasions, or simply when you want to serve something approachable, expressive and easy to enjoy.
These three champagnes combine quality, typicity and accessibility in a very convincing way. What they share is a fruitier, softer style than classic Brut, while still retaining freshness and elegance. We selected them because they come from respected producers, offer consistently high quality, and deliver excellent champagne character at an attractive price. Together, they also show different sides of the Demi-Sec style – from fresh and citrus-driven to creamy, honeyed and dessert-friendly.
Palmer & Co. La Réserve Demi-Sec is a charming and generous champagne with clear fruit expression and lively energy. The palate is round and creamy, with notes of apricot, pear and ripe mango, followed by hints of caramelised pineapple and a touch of citrus freshness that brings balance. It is a champagne that feels both full and vibrant.
It pairs especially well with fruit-based desserts, almond cake, pancakes with caramel, pastries, and blue cheeses, where sweetness and savoury saltiness create a lovely contrast.
The wine is made from the classic Champagne grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. A generous proportion of reserve wines adds depth and consistency, while ageing on the lees contributes to the creamy texture and elegant complexity.
Champagne Mandois Demi Sec is a soft, fruity and appealing champagne with a lightly gourmand character. It shows notes of ripe pear, mango and peach, rounded out by a subtle touch of vanilla. The style is medium-dry, generous and very approachable, with a creamy texture that makes it particularly inviting.
It is an excellent choice for desserts, especially those featuring fruit, vanilla or almond, but also for festive classics such as almond-based cakes and celebratory pastries. It also works beautifully on its own when you want a softer, more fruit-driven champagne experience.
This champagne is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in a balanced blend that brings together freshness, structure and fruit. The house style is rooted in tradition, experience and careful selection, which is reflected in the wine’s clean profile and harmonious finish.
Nicolas Feuillatte Réserve Exclusive Demi-Sec is the most clearly dessert-oriented champagne in the selection, with a rich and generous flavour profile. The nose offers dried apricot, raisins, almond and vanilla. On the palate, notes of candied fruit, hazelnut, toasted bread and honey unfold before the finish is rounded off by yellow fruit such as mango and a soft, silky texture.
It is an excellent match for classic desserts and pastries such as brioche, crêpes, panettone and pâtisserie, but also for blue cheese, foie gras or spiced dishes where the sweetness can play against salt and heat.
The cuvée is made from Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, with the blend chosen to create structure, fruit and elegance. Reserve wines and cellar ageing add further depth and a more developed expression.
