Frappin v.S.O.P is one of the very few v.S.O.P Cognac, which comes exclusively from Grande Champagne – and on top of 100% from 1. Cru fields. It is basically a “brand cognac” that could come from any vineyard in cognac and settle for 4.5 years of storage. As a result of Frapin’s large land predictions at Château Fontpinot, only Grande Champagne is used, 1. Cru Cognac made on Fontpinot. The blend is, of course, different, and the average age is lower (10 years in average) than is the case with the big brother.
