Fanø Skibsrom – Havmanden 35 CL 41,5%

Imported Jamaica Rum – Oak Aged in Denmark (Fanø)

The seaman is a spicy room with a touch of sweetness. With a delicate taste of heather honey and garden from Fanø and Madagascar vanilla and with a lovely rounded taste of Jamaicarom.
The good Rome comes from Jamaica and is based on Portvinsfade on Fanø.

The inspiration for Fanø Skibsrom starts with the Tendrigger Doris Brodersen was building in Flensburg in 1875 and named after the shipowner’s wife. It was registered on St. Thomas, Danish West Indies, and thus in Danish flag from 1875, and sailed for many years Rome and sugar from St.croix, St.Thomas and St.Jan to Flensburg. Here, the room was diluted (Verschnitt), spicy and stored in the many room houses and sold as the famous Flensburg Rome, where each room had their special mix.

Doris Brodersen was sold to Fanø in 1890, area to Bark in 1892 and entered into Fanø’s sailing raft until 1908, when it was sold to Italy. The ship was condemned at Bermuda in 1913.

Fanous sailing ship period is history and the row is now transported in modern ships from the Caribbean to Fanø.
Inspired by Fanous sailing ship history and with a love of roman’s taste and history, Lars J. Schou put themselves to create a Caribbean quality. A Rome with the taste of warm countries and the North Sea shower.

Fanø Skibsrome is a Caribbean quality spicy, stored and bottled on Fanø.
A flavors that send you from Fanø to exotic skies – and back again.
