Champagne Cuvée Victor Brut 2013 from Champagne Mandois originates from the heart of the Champagne region, where chalky soils and a cool, continental climate provide the ideal conditions for producing elegant and complex wines. The grapes are harvested from carefully selected vineyard parcels with old vines, adding extra depth and concentration. The soil is composed of clay and chalk, contributing to the wine’s characteristic finesse and minerality.
The bouquet is seductive, with aromas of ripe pear, apple, and white flowers, complemented by subtle notes of roasted nuts and vanilla. On the palate, the wine offers a harmonious balance of fresh acidity, purity, and a full-bodied texture. Over time, it develops layers of dried fruits, citrus, and a delicate saline finish.
Fermentation takes place in both stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, combining freshness with complexity. After primary fermentation, the wine undergoes traditional bottle fermentation and is matured for at least seven years on the lees in the cellar. This extended ageing imparts a fine mousse, creamy texture, and well-developed aromas.
