Compagnie des Indes Nicaragua 17 Years Cask #NCR30 is yet another single cask bottling from Florent Beuchet that is only available in Denmark. This one comes from a “secret” distillery in Nicaragua, but if you’re a skilled Googler, you might be able to solve the mystery. This cask is bottled at a strength of 64.9%, just slightly more refined than its little brother from Cask #SN18.
Color: Golden.
Aroma: Melon, grapes, green bananas, and a hint of coconut.
Tasting notes: A light mouthfeel with notes of caramel, orange juice, cloves, and canned peach.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy neat – perhaps with a few drops of water.
