Champagne Billecart Salmon – Mareuil-sur-Ay
Golden Champagne with soft bubbles and a fine mousse. Intense aromas of dried fruit, almond and hazelnut, ripe apple and white pear. The palate shows sweet, creamy notes of buttery brioche and vanilla, yet finishes with a mineral, citrus-fresh edge. Serve with grilled fish, shellfish or caviar.
Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a non-vintage Champagne—meaning it is blended from multiple vintages, in this case two different ones. Only Chardonnay is used. The grapes come from five Grand Cru sites in the Côte des Blancs in Champagne.
To ensure freshness and intense aromas, the Champagne is vinified at low temperatures in stainless-steel tanks before blending, bottling and ageing for around three years.
