Big Peat 15th Anniversary Edition Redwine Cask 70 cl. 50%

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the popular Islay Blended Malt Whisky, Douglas Laing is releasing this unique special edition. Bottled at 50% ABV, this limited edition has primarily matured in handpicked red wine casks, which give the smoky Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky its distinctive character.

Thanks to the special cask aging, Big Peat fans can look forward to a warm smoky aroma with earthy notes, surrounded by forest berries and vanilla. On the palate, you’ll find notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of nuts, followed by a long, rich finish with plenty of peat smoke and a hint of spiciness.

On the nose, it begins with warm, earthy smoke notes, followed by fruity forest berries and vanilla. The palate is dominated by fruity aromas in harmony with toffee, dark chocolate, and a touch of nuts. The finish is long-lasting with plenty of dry peat smoke.
