Benrinnes 2010 12 Years Oloroso Signatory Vintage 70 CL 46%

A 12-year-old Benrinnes 2010 bottled without colouring in 2023 by Signatory Vintage for their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

This 2010 Benrinnes 12-year-old was finished in a pair of first fill Oloroso sherry butts which have evidently had an impact, giving the whisky a beautiful natural chestnut colour, and has been bottled at the standard strength of 46%.

Benrinnes and sherry casks go together like toast and beans, and this looks like a bargain.

Nose Jammy plums and figs, with almond biscotti, and winter spices.

Palate Toasted walnuts and poached apple, with raisins and sweet dates.

Finish Drizzles of molasses, and cinnamon.
