Miltonduff 10 Years Discovery from Gordon & MacPhail is a classic Speyside single malt, bottled as part of the Discovery range – created as an easy introduction to the house style. The whisky is 10 years old, bottled at 43%, and sits in the richer, fruit- and sherry-driven end of the flavour spectrum, where sweet malt and cask spice both play a clear role.

Style and character
Miltonduff is known for a soft, fruity and creamy spirit character, and in this 10-year-old Discovery edition it is wrapped in warm notes from sherry casks. The result is a rounded and approachable dram that still has enough depth for the experienced whisky drinker.

Flavour profile

• Nose: Ripe apples and pears, dried fruits such as raisins and sultanas, honey, toffee and light caramel. In the background come warm spices, a touch of nuts, orange zest and a hint of chocolate.

• Palate: Soft and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Sweet malt, caramel, dried fruits, orange zest, light chocolate and a nice touch of spicy oak. Well balanced between fruity sweetness and spice.

• Finish: Medium in length with lingering notes of malt, dried fruit, gentle spice, vanilla and a dry, elegant oak note.
