Hugo Asbach, born in Germany in 1868, was one of the proud entrepreneurs of his time. As part of his education, he was sent to France, where he learned the art of distilling, and when he returned to Germany in 1892, he founded his own distillery in Rüdesheim.
The distillery was the start of the unique house, Asbach, which to this day is one of Germany’s best-known brands. Since 1892, care, experience and expertise have shaped production, and the house is today known for products of the highest quality.
