Arran 25 Year Old is the pinnacle of the Arran core range and a true representation of the distillery’s maturity and craftsmanship. Aged for a quarter of a century, this single malt has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and ex-sherry hogsheads, with a final year of maturation in first-fill and refill sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, it showcases the depth and complexity that long ageing can deliver.
On the nose, it opens with warm notes of dried figs, sultanas and black cherries, layered with soft oak spice, muscovado sugar, and a delicate hint of nutmeg. The palate is rich and full-bodied, evoking flavours of fruit cake, dark chocolate, orange zest, cinnamon, toasted almonds and manuka honey. A gentle touch of white pepper adds vibrancy and structure. The finish is long, creamy and elegant, with lingering notes of roasted nuts, dark fruits and subtle spice.
