Its name is a cheeky tribute to Scotland’s infamous midgies – the tiny, persistent Highland midges that are as much a part of the landscape as mist and sea breeze.
Beneath the whimsical label lies a well-crafted and thoughtfully composed single malt. Made from a mix of peated and unpeated spirit – with a clear emphasis on the unpeated – and matured in a selection of bourbon casks, port barriques, and a touch of sherry wood, this whisky delivers a beautifully layered experience full of contrast and character.
