Amrut Peated Single Malt is a smoked whiskey from Bangalore in India. This sovereign, intermediate Amrut is located on the bourbon dish in Amraft’s heat warehouses until it is tapped at 46% alcohol, without caramel dye or cooling filtration. The good Jim Murray has acknowledged throughout 94 points in his whiskey Bible, and we agree – it is phenomenal whiskey that absolutely does not stand in the shadow of the Scots!
Color: Golden.
Fragrance: Drying, bacon, leather and citrus.
Taste notes: A sweet taste of molasses and brown farin. Is followed by smoke, spices, caramel and vanilla.
