Old St. Croix XO Reserve 1888 Copenhagen Medal 70 cl. 40%
Premium Aged Spirit Drink
Old St. Croix XO Reserve – 1888 Copenhagen Medal is a modern tribute to the blend that was awarded a medal at The Great Nordic Exhibition in Copenhagen in 1888 — a proud moment for the family behind apothecary Albert Heinrich Riise. At the heart of this edition you’ll find extra-old, double-distilled casks from renowned distilleries in the West Indies and Central America. The blends are matured in oak barrels that previously held sweet dessert wines, adding depth, complexity, and a warm, richly layered character.
Tasting notes are not an ingredient list, but a subjective description of flavour.
Nose Gentle oak, old leather, and dried apricots.
Palate Warm spices, Christmas cake and orange peel, with a hint of English wine gums at the end.
Finish Dried fruit, old oak, and a touch of sherry.
