Althea Marika Extra Dry is an elegant, fruit-driven spumante from the Treviso province in northern Italy. It is made from the traditional local grapes Glera, Bianchetta and Perera and produced using the Charmat method, resulting in a clean, fresh style with fine, persistent bubbles. The alcohol level is 11 % and the residual sugar around 13–18 g/l, giving a pleasant touch of fruit sweetness while keeping the wine crisp and refreshing.
In the glass it shows a straw-yellow colour with a delicate, continuous perlage. The nose is fruity and floral, offering notes of lemon, green apple and juicy peach alongside subtle blossom nuances. On the palate it is soft, fresh and approachable with pure fruit, lively but balanced acidity and a refreshing finish that invites another sip.
Althea Marika Extra Dry is ideal as an aperitif, for casual get-togethers or served with light dishes such as salads, seafood, fish, white meats or assorted appetizers. For best enjoyment, serve at 6–8 °C in a tulip-shaped glass to showcase both aromas and bubbles.
