Benriach 21 Years – Signatory Vintage Decanter 70 cl. 59,2%

Distilled on May 24, 2000, this single malt whisky was first aged in refill butts for over 20 years, then the single malt received a twelve month finish in a first fill sherry butt.
On August 13, 2021, the butt was filled to 685 bottles.

Nose: plums and raisins marinated in rum, plus an aromatic spice reminiscent of an open cigar box
Taste: sweet spices and a crisp oak character, figs and dates with traces of ground coffee on top
Finish: long and rich finish with lots of fruit and spiciness – oak and cigars make a comeback
