Nordés Gin 70 cl. 40%

Nordé’s Gin 40% is the heart and soul from Galicia put on a bottle. The name itself comes from the wind Nordés, who “brings good weather” or “good times”. The gin is made of three friends, where two work professionally with wine, therefore it was also natural to use local ingredients, such as the base alcohol, which is made on Albarino grapes. The idea is to show everything Galicia can, inside and out. Therefore, vast majority of things either from Galicia or inspired by Galicia.

The gin has 11 ingredients, 6 are local (sage, lemon verbena, bay leaves, peppermint, eucalyptus and salt), and 5 are imported (singleberry, cardamom, ginger, hibiscus and black ceylon the). The bottle itself is very traditional for the region where pottery and ceramics have a long history, and the simple white and blue color reflects both Galicia’s flag, but are also traditional colors from the area. Nordés is an elegant gin, it is modern and you sit a wonderful taste in the mouth of both juniper and sage. Nordes goes very well with Fever-Tree Elderflower, but also Mediterranean and Indian Tonic.
