Joseph Cartron – Châtaigne (Chestnut) Liqueur 70 cl. 18%
A classic winter time treat from French liqueur producer Joseph Cartron.
For this bottling they use only the finest chestnuts, which are macerated in alcohol to produce a sweet and drinkable liqueur. The final product encapsulates the flavor of Marron Glacé, or candied chestnuts, a popular confection from the south of France.
Cartron Châtaigne serves up notes of slightly rooty spice, sweet brown sugar, chestnut butter, toasted nuts, raisins and subtle liquorice.
Delicious served as a digestif, or over ice, Cartron Châtaigne also does well in dessert style cocktail.
