French Everyday Red Favorites – Bundle 3×75 cl. (1x Barbebelle Rouge, 1x Boislauzon Villages, 1x Begadanet Cru Bourgeois)

French red everyday favourites brings together three French producers with clear individual style and strong roots in their respective regions. Here you find Mas de Boislauzon, a family estate in Orange that has worked across six generations and farms organically with a biodynamic approach, Château Bégadanet, a classified Cru Bourgeois from Médoc, and Château Barbebelle, a family-owned estate in Provence with several generations of history behind it. Together, they create a case that shows three sides of French red wine: southern Rhône spice and structure, classic Bordeaux elegance, and sun-ripened Provençal charm.

Mas de Boislauzon – Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages

A characterful and densely flavoured southern Rhône wine with both red and dark fruit, black olives, herbs from Provence, and a lightly spicy clove note. The wine is full-bodied yet well balanced, with structure rather than sweetness, which makes it especially well suited to grilled lamb chops, ratatouille, rosemary-roasted chicken, hearty stews, and aged hard cheeses. The wine comes from parcels right next to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with similar terroir, and is made from a Grenache-dominant blend with Syrah, Mourvèdre, and a little Carignan. The harvest is done by hand, the grapes are sorted directly in the vineyard, the vinification is traditional with temperature control, and the wine is aged for around one year in both large casks and tank.

Château Bégadanet Médoc Cru Bourgeois

This is a classic yet unusually approachable Médoc, with elegant fruit, soft tannins, and a slightly fruitier profile thanks to the high proportion of Merlot. The palate moves around dark berries, cassis, discreet oak notes, and a lightly earthy, tobacco-like depth, making it a very good match for grilled beef, roast lamb, venison patties, mushroom dishes, and aged cheeses. The wine is classified as Cru Bourgeois and is made from 80 percent Merlot and 20 percent Cabernet Sauvignon grown in soils of clay, limestone, silt, and gravel. The grapes are destemmed after harvest and then fermented under temperature control in stainless steel tanks according to traditional Bordeaux vinification.

Château Barbebelle Rouge Cuvée Madeleine

A fresh yet generous red wine from Provence with a ruby-red colour, lively style, and clear notes of red berries. The palate is warm and approachable with red fruits at the centre, but also with enough body to pair well with roasts, stews, grilled chicken, herb-roasted pork neck, rustic pasta dishes, and a cheese board. The producer highlights the wine’s freshness and elegance, and that combination makes it especially easy to enjoy. The wine is made from Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. The vineyards are farmed with great care for the environment, the harvest is mechanical, and both fermentation and ageing take place traditionally in concrete tanks, helping the wine retain its pure fruit and soft, food-friendly style.
