We treat our collaborations as a chance to learn something new. So when Thyras Bryg and Fanø Bryghus set out to brew our brand-new collab, we decided to make something neither of us had brewed before. The result is a refined wheatwine matured for one and a half years in white port casks—the very style of cask we also use for our much-loved White Wedding.
Expect a beautifully balanced beer with a clear cask signature: notes of white port, figs, and freshly baked French bread carried by a body that stays light and silky thanks to the wheat. The grist features Maris Otter along with crystal, melanoidin and Cara Red malts plus wheat malt; brewed with rolled oats for texture, a touch of bittering hops for backbone, and classic ale yeast to showcase the malt and cask character.
