Non Plus Ultra means “nothing beyond this” — a Latin inscription that, according to legend, was carved into the Pillars of Hercules to mark the outermost boundary of the world. It is also the name of our ultra-premium series of blends, where the limits of flavour and finesse are pushed to the extreme. Old St. Croix Non Plus Ultra – Black Edition is the most intense expression in the range. The blend is composed of selected casks from renowned distilleries in the Caribbean and Central America and matured in heavily charred bourbon barrels. The charring process caramelises the oak’s natural sugars and releases deep, concentrated aromas. The result is a dark, velvety blend with a full body, a warm glow, and remarkable balance.
