Plani Arche is a craft-focused producer in Umbria with a clear commitment to organic farming and an approach designed to reflect place rather than polish an international style. Behind the label are Roberto Di Filippo and Elena Pompeii, working in central Umbria on a small scale with careful attention in both vineyard and cellar. The wines often feel “grounded”: clean fruit, gentle handling, and a preference for lively, food-friendly character over industrial gloss.
AModoMio is their white, lightly sparkling wine in a distinctly artisanal style: an Umbrian IGT made from Trebbiano (often listed as Trebbiano Spoletino), vinified as a classic white wine at controlled temperature and then re-fermented in bottle. It’s typically unfiltered and made with minimal additions, which can bring extra texture and a charmingly natural, pet-nat/ancestral-adjacent feel—fresh, slightly yeasty in a pleasant way, and very drinkable. Ageing is usually in stainless steel on the lees, building tension and a subtle creaminess without any oak influence.
In the glass it’s commonly straw-yellow with fine, gentle bubbles. Aromas lean toward citrus and white-fleshed fruit (apple/pear), sometimes with a light bready note from lees contact. The palate is dry to just softly rounded, with bright acidity and a mineral finish that makes it easy to drink yet genuinely useful at the table.
Serving and pairing
Serve cool, around 10–12 °C.
Don’t shake the bottle; pour gently if you want it clearer, or give it a light turn if you’d like more lees for added texture.
Great with fish and seafood, simple starters, vegetable dishes, mild cheeses, and lighter plates built on salt and umami.
