Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal is a liqueur made from 90% mezcal from San Luis del Rio and 10% miel de agave – syrup pressed from baked agave. The addition of the syrup gives a delicate sweetness which plays wonderfully with the deep, smoky notes. Crema de Mezcal can be drunk neat, e.g. as a digestif after a good dinner, or used in cocktails such as margaritas. It is bottled at 40% alcohol.

Color: Clear.
Scent: Beautiful, herbal notes of rosemary, agave, wet sand and wood smoke.
Tasting notes: Creamy and sweet, with notes of baked apple, citrus and almonds – all wrapped in smoke.

Serving suggestion: Enjoy neat or shaken with fresh lime juice and ice in a smoky twist on a margarita.
