Sacred Spirits ligger i Highgate, London, d\u00e4r Ian Hart destillerar vodka, gin, vermouth och bitter. Efter sin kemiutbildning arbetade Ian som m\u00e4klare p\u00e5 Wall Street, men ville hellre anv\u00e4nda sin utbildning p\u00e5 ett mer praktiskt s\u00e4tt. Han hade i flera \u00e5r samlat p\u00e5 Bordeauxviner och ville f\u00f6rst bevara vinernas kvalitet. Med tiden ”uppfann” han en gin, som han tog med till sin lokala pub. Den blev en stor succ\u00e9, och snart drogs hela hans lilla entrepren\u00f6rsfamilj, inklusive hans fru Hilary, in i verksamheten.<\/p>\n
Det som g\u00f6r Sacred unikt \u00e4r att den destilleras under vakuum vid l\u00e5ga temperaturer. Senare blev Ian kontaktad av barchefen p\u00e5 The Dukes Hotel i London, som hade smakat hans gin. Pl\u00f6tsligt fann sig Ian springa runt i Londons tunnelbana med ginleveranser till hela staden. Till slut var han tvungen att g\u00e5 \u00f6ver till en professionell distribut\u00f6r \u2013 och resten \u00e4r historia.<\/p>\n
Den exceptionella kvaliteten hos Sacred Gin gjorde att produkten snabbt spreds \u2013 f\u00f6rst i Storbritannien och sedan internationellt. 2013 vann Sacred Gin dubbelguld vid San Francisco World Spirits Competition.<\/p>\n
