\nThe Black Tot Master Blender\u2019s Reserve 2025 has just appeared on the horizon, and it\u2019s a real beauty this year. As you may know, a new blend is released annually, and this time Oliver Chillton, the esteemed Master Blender, has outdone himself!
\nThe blend consists of 40% Guyana rum (up to 21 years old), 24% Barbados rum, 13% Jamaica, 4% Trinidad, and 19% from Black Tot\u2019s \u201cperpetual reserve\u201d, which includes rum from the original British Navy fleets. The 4% from Trinidad may seem small, but it makes a significant impact \u2013 Black Tot reveals it comes from a rare barrel from a closed distillery. Most rum enthusiasts know what that means\u2026 yes, it\u2019s Caroni!
\nAs usual, no sugar or coloring is added, and the alcohol content is a potent 54.5% ABV.
\nColor: Dark amber
\nAroma: A kaleidoscopic nose where licorice and dark chocolate merge with molasses, tropical fruits, and grapefruit
\nTasting Notes: Rich and intense rum with dark notes of warm spices, molasses, melted butter, and candied citrus
