Hampden Estate 1753 is the latest release from the historic distillery in Jamaica. The rum is named after the year the distillery was founded \u2013 it\u2019s the oldest on the island! And not much has changed since then: they still use copper pot stills, natural yeast, full tropical aging, and zero added sugar. 1753 is aged for 3 years and boasts a high ester level, for which Hampden is especially renowned. A perfect introduction to the distillery\u2019s unique style!<\/p>\n
Colour: Pale amber.
\nNose: Distinctly Hampden with overripe tropical fruit, nutmeg, engine room, and citrus.
\nPalate: A powerful rum that carries its 46% ABV beautifully. Warm spices, a hint of vanilla, and lifted notes of mango, pineapple, and banana.<\/p>\n
