Decades II is truly a unique and exquisite expression, a marriage of 21 casks carefully selected from the past five decades.<\/p>\n
The first Decades release came in 2011 to honor the work of former Distillery Manager Douglas Campbell.<\/p>\n
Decades II is a tribute to everyone at Tomatin, both past and present. It combines the finest whisky from Tomatin\u2019s history, with each decade contributing a new flavor experience.<\/p>\n

\nThe blend of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, wine, and re-charred French oak casks from the past 50 years gives Decades II remarkable complexity.<\/p>\n
Aroma
\nCitrus fruits, hints of sweet pastries, and wood shavings. Cooked fruits are balanced with soft florals and coconut. A general sense of maturity emerges with dried fruits, almonds, and exotic spices adding depth.<\/p>\n
Taste
\nChristmas cake, maple syrup, and fresh red berries. Over time, tropical fruits appear, accompanied by orange zest and ginger.<\/p>\n
Finish
