Tomatin Distillery \u2013 A Highland distillery that, back in the 1970s, was Scotland\u2019s largest, with a total of 23 stills in operation. Their motto was “Largest!” In 1984, a struggling Tomatin was purchased by Japanese investors, who embarked on a transformation mission: from “Largest” to “Best!”<\/p>\n
Today, Tomatin releases a wide range of whiskies, selling in over 50 international markets \u2013 the mission from largest to best is well on its way to success!<\/p>\n
Aroma
\nFilled with strawberry jam, honey-glazed ham, honeydew melon, and freshly squeezed orange juice. At the same time, notes of wood, antique furniture, burnt rubber, rum, orange peel, and tobacco can be detected.<\/p>\n
Taste
\nSweet with buttery undertones, candy floss, red fruits, eucalyptus, mint, and coconut, with a pleasant smoky twist.<\/p>\n
Finish
\nSlightly dry, rich, full-bodied, and complex, with a warming sweetness, plenty of malt, and dark chocolate.<\/p>\n
