\nCherry mead is a sweet mead but excels as a particularly drinkable and refreshing mead, and is among the best to enjoy on its own. For food pairing, we suggest serving it with light, fruit-based desserts such as berry compote, rhubarb trifle, or raspberry tart, and it is excellent with risalamande. Its light bitter notes allow it to pair with chocolate, though it can easily be overpowered by very dark and bitter chocolate. It also pairs well with light cheeses, such as smoked cheese.<\/p>\n
