Fresh and flavorful
\nPale pink color that aligns well with the classic French spectrum “pale and dry.” The aroma is delightful and expressive, with perfumed notes of pink flowers, red berries, and subtle hints of herbs and minerals. On the palate, the wine is fresh, bubbly, and fruity, with tasty notes that provide a good, even, and long aftertaste of strawberries, rose petals, and fresh herbs. Enjoy the wine chilled as an aperitif with olives or with grilled fish, salad (e.g., a Caesar salad), or goat cheese. The wine is also exquisite with the classic French dish grilled lamb with herbes de Provence. One of Rob\u2019s favorites is crispy fries with aioli. \nProduction
\nThe wine is made in collaboration with a family-owned vineyard in Lambesc, Southern Provence. The grapes are from Roy Ren\u00e9\u2019s vineyards, which span over 900 hectares around the towns of Lambesc, Saint-Cannat, and Rognes, areas rich in tradition and history. The exceptional influence of the mountain peaks Cha\u00eene des C\u00f4tes and Cha\u00eene de la Tr\u00e9varesse and a climate with little water and frost produce grapes of impeccable quality. The grapes ferment in whole clusters with maceration for a few hours, just enough to give the wine its fantastic color and texture. Afterwards, the grapes are lightly pressed, and the juice ferments at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks until almost complete dryness is achieved. The wine is aged with light lees in stainless steel tanks, adding structure. No malolactic fermentation ensures the wine\u2019s liveliness.<\/p>\n
