Fernet del Frate is Tempus Fugit Spirits’ take on the bitter Italian liqueur, fern. This type of bitter is made with saffron, gentian, china bark, mint, anise, quan and myrrh. And it is bitter. The strong flavor has notes of menthol and mint, as well as a good sweetness that keeps the bitterness in check. It is bottled at an alcohol percentage of 44, and the dark color with the golden tinge comes from saffron \u2013 no artificial colors are added.<\/p>\n
