Frederiksdal’s newest addition is Frederiksdal R\u00d8D \u2013 a sparkling wine! The wine is deep red, sparkling, juicy and full of sweetness.<\/p>\n
To emphasize the fresh taste of cherries and give the wine more sweetness, we have added our Frederiksdal 2015. The result is a fresh and mouth-watering sparkling, Semi-Sec.<\/p>\n
Frederiksdal R\u00d8D is produced on Stevn cherries from our own plantations with added pears from Lolland.<\/p>\n
The Stevnkirseb\u00e4rret, which we have at Frederiksdal Estates, is rich and highly concentrated. The cherry helps to give intensity and weight to our sparkling wine.<\/p>\n
Wine of pears is elegant and light. When you mix pears and cherries, you get the perfect combination of the lightness of the pears and the intensity of the cherry dish.<\/p>\n
Frederiksdal R\u00d8D is made from Stevnsb\u00e6r from our plantation J\u00f8rgensmark. It is a young plantation, so the berries from here give a fruity, and not too strong wine.<\/p>\n
The pears are pressed directly to produce as light and elegant a wine as possible.<\/p>\n
Pears and cherries ferment separately so that we can subsequently find the unique mixing ratio – fruit behaves differently year after year. In this version, the ratio is 60% cherries and 40% pears. After mixing, it has bubbles.<\/p>\n
