Eins-Zwei-Dry Ros\u00e9 is a fresh and fruity ros\u00e9 wine made from 100% Pinot Noir \u2013 or Sp\u00e4tburgunder, which is the local name for Pinot Noir. The grapes come from fields around Geisenheim, Hattenheim and Erbach in the Rheingau. Although the area is primarily known for Riesling, world-class Pinot Noir is also grown \u2013 and it certainly works in ros\u00e9 form too!<\/p>\n
Colour: Pale pink.
\nScent: Attractive scent of wild strawberries, rose hips and raspberries.
\nTasting notes: Round and juicy, with a fresh acidity and notes of red fruit. A sure summer hit!<\/p>\n

Johannes Leitz took over the family winery from his father in 1999, having been in charge of the winemaking since 1985. Under Johannes’ ownership, Leitz has only gone one way – up! The quality has increased from good to world class and they have managed to expand the fields with some of the best parcels around the town of R\u00fcdesheim.<\/p>\n
The hillside west of and immediately around R\u00fcdesheim is one of the most magical terroirs in the entire world for the production of wines from the Riesling grape \u2013 and thus one of the most magical terroirs in the entire world for the production of white wine!<\/p>\n
