Manufacturing
\nThe grapes are mechanically harvested early in the morning when it is cool to preserve the freshness of the grapes. The grape skins were allowed to macerate with the must for approximately 8-12 hours to extract color from the skins of the Sauvignon Gris. Cultivated yeast was added to the must and fermentation was carried out under low temperature.<\/p>\n
Storage
\nAfter fermentation, the wine is stored for a few weeks in stainless steel tanks together with its lees.<\/p>\n
Match
\nPerfect as an accompanying wine or aperitif and for buffets, finger foods, salads and picnics.<\/p>\n

Fran\u00e7ois Lurton was born and raised in a castle in Bordeaux. However, he began his own success story as a flying winemaker in South America. Today, Fran\u00e7ois Lurton is the man behind a number of successful wines from estates in Argentina, Chile, Spain and France. Fran\u00e7ois is called the “white wine king” for his skillful handling of the sauvignon blanc grape, not least in the form of the hit Les Fum\u00e9es Blanches but also as orange wine and as craft gin in the form of the celebrated Sorgin.<\/p>\n
It all started in the early 1990s, when Fran\u00e7ois and his brother Jaques worked as flying winemakers together in Argentina. There they also acquired their first vineyards. In 2007 they separated and today Fran\u00e7ois is the sole owner of a very successful and growing wine empire.
