Dagobert Riesling Racines & Terroirs is an affordable but worthy representative of both Alsace and riesling. It has a nice regional character and a slight petroleum note, which in the right amounts is a nice thing about riesling.<\/p>\n
Cave du Roi Dagobert is a well-functioning and modern cooperative with close relations to the cooperative in T\u00fcrckheim, respected for its high level of quality at prices that are only slightly above the entry level.<\/p>\n
The nose is elegantly composed of; citrus fruits, golden delicious apples and a little pear. There is both purity and length that go beyond the wine’s reasonable price.<\/p>\n
Racines & Terrois Riesling can be enjoyed as an aperitif\/thirst quencher, but it is also lovely with a prawn dish, with the not too fat dishes with fish and shellfish, with Far Eastern food with chilli\/ginger. If you are a particular alsacophile, you will also know that it goes excellently with choucroute garnie (sauerkraut and several types of pork).<\/p>\n
We recommend a serving temperature in the bed of 8-11\u00b0.<\/p>\n
