\nEl Tequile\u00f1o Blanco is a longtime favorite among residents of the city of Tequila and surrounding areas. This historic tequila is the main ingredient in the La Batanga cocktail, which was invented by Don Javier of the world famous La Capilla Cantina.<\/p>\n
El Tequile\u00f1o Blanco is a so-called blanco tequila, and is thus either unaged or only aged for a very short period. Blanco tequila is usually very clean in taste and characterized by the natural taste of agave. El Tequile\u00f1o Blanco does particularly well in cocktails.<\/p>\n

About El Tequileno
\nTequile\u00f1o is one of the most highly respected and popular premium tequila brands in the world. And not without reason \u2013 the distillery was founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo in the city of Tequila, Mexico. The distillery took its name from the town \u2013 a name that is not entirely accidental. Because the town of Tequila is the place where the agave-based spirit was first distilled, and it is also where the drink gets its name.<\/p>\n
In addition to this historical heritage, Tequile\u00f1o is also special in that it is one of the very few tequila distilleries that releases its tequila under its own name. Normally in the tequila industry, the distilleries sell their tequila to independent bottlers, who then sell it under their own name. Tequile\u00f1o handles the entire process himself \u2013 from planting and harvesting the blue agave, to mixing and bottling the final tequila drink.<\/p>\n
Tequile\u00f1o today publishes a number of different tequilas: Under the 1959 premium line you will find classics such as blanco, reposado, cristalino and a\u00f1ejo; and for those who want a more economical and drinks-focused alternative, you will find a blanco and reposado.<\/p>\n
