Old St. Croix Spirit Drinks is a tribute to one of the most enterprising Danes, Albert Heinrich Riise, who successfully ran his pharmacy in Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas from 1838 to 1878.
\nA relaunch based on the original recipe for the \u201cRoyal Navy Strength Spirit Drink,\u201d a creation by Albert Heinrich Riise that was supplied to naval ships when they called at the port of Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas.
\nThe product is a blend of several spirits, aged up to 20 years, of the \u201cVedderburn and Plummer\u201d type \u2013 molasses-based, characterized by slow fermentation and pot still distillation up to 85% ABV.
\nThe result is a remarkable spirit with an extremely dark, almost black color and great complexity. Riise Royal Navy Strength is hand-blended in small batches and is neither chill-filtered nor caramel-colored.

\nStewed dark fruit, roasted figs, orange peel, coffee, licorice, molasses, and cedarwood.
