It\u2019s one of the house\u2019s most well-known quality rums and reflects Barbancourt\u2019s Haitian style: rum made from fresh sugarcane juice (not molasses), distilled and aged in oak. This typically results in a drier, more elegant, oak-driven profile compared with many sweeter, more \u201cdessert-like\u201d rums.<\/p>\n
On the nose you\u2019ll often find dried fruit, orange peel, vanilla, cocoa, cedar\/noble wood notes, and a warm spiced edge. The palate is full yet relatively dry, showing caramelized sugar, nuts, dark chocolate, spices, and a clear oak presence that adds structure and length.
