Glenfarclas 10 Years<\/strong> is a classic Speyside single malt that captures the distillery\u2019s signature sherried style in a youthful yet surprisingly characterful expression. It\u2019s smooth, approachable and malt-forward, with a warm sweetness that makes it an excellent \u201chouse whisky\u201d \u2014 both as an introduction to Glenfarclas and as an easy-going dram for sherry-cask lovers.<\/p>\n

Nose & palate:<\/strong>
Expect sherry sweetness with honey, toffee and malt, often alongside vanilla and fruit (apple\/pear) plus touches of dried fruit. On the palate it\u2019s rounded and balanced with fruitcake, gentle winter spice and oak, sometimes with a faint hint of smoke in the background. The finish is medium to long, lightly spicy and oaky, with lingering sweet sherry notes.<\/p>\n

Serving suggestions:<\/strong>
Enjoy neat or with a small splash of water. Also works well with a large ice cube. Pair with nuts, dark chocolate, or aged cheeses.<\/p>\n

Made by J. & G. Grant at Glenfarclas Distillery in Speyside (Ballindalloch). Glenfarclas is notable for remaining family-owned and family-managed, with the Grant family taking over in 1865. The house style leans traditional and sherry-driven, focusing on fruit, spice and smoothness.<\/p>\n
