The nose offers notes of blackcurrant and other ripe forest berries. The palate is beautifully balanced, with plenty of fruit and a slight dryness. The finish is delightfully long and filled with fruit.<\/p>\n Serving temperature:<\/strong> 14\u201316 \u00b0C<\/p>\n The grapes ripen under clear sunshine and by the time they are harvested in February, they are fully ripe. After picking in the early morning, the still-cool bunches are brought in for destemming and pressing. Fermentation takes place at a low, controlled temperature in order to preserve the fruit richness of the grapes in the final wine.<\/p>\n Transporting wine in bulk from the country of origin for bottling in Denmark results in a significantly lower CO\u2082 impact compared with importing wine already bottled.
