Timorous Beastie Madeira Cask Finish 48% \u2013 Limited Edition<\/strong> is a Highland blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, composed of 100% Highland single malts and finished in hand-selected Madeira wine casks. Limited to just 4,000 bottles worldwide and bottled at 48% ABV, it is released with no chill-filtration and no added colouring \u2013 crafted with artisan cheese pairings firmly in mind.<\/p>\n

Style & origin<\/h3>\n

Timorous Beastie takes its name from Robert Burns\u2019 poem \u201cTo a Mouse\u201d and showcases the sweet, fruity and gently spicy side of Highland malt. In this Madeira Edition, the classic profile is elevated by several months of finishing in Madeira casks, adding grape-like sweetness, depth and extra complexity while keeping the bright Highland orchard fruit at the core.<\/p>\n
