Stauning H\u00d8ST is a smooth, fruity and floral whiskey that recalls the warmth and comfort of the late Danish summer during the harvest of our carefully selected and locally grown rye and barley. This double malt whiskey was created in Denmark and consists of a mixture of equal parts single malt whiskey and rye whiskey, aged in new American oak casks with a touch of port casks.<\/p>\n
Our approach to whisky: designed with intention, simplicity, sustainability, timeless style and a touch of “coziness”. By producing whiskey from 100% floor malted Danish rye and barley, we create a timeless style of whiskey that is characterized by its deep taste and quality. Double distillation in 24 small copper pot stills, heated over an open fire, adds complex and rich flavor notes to our whisky.<\/p>\n
