Lillet Rouge 75 CL 17%

Bordeaux Apéritif

Originally produced as a medicinal tonic wine, Lillet quickly became popular thanks to its flavour. The company have produced a range of different aromatised wines over the year, many of which have since disappeared, such as the famed Kina Lillet used to make James Bond’s Vesper Martini. Now famed for their light and fruity aperitivo, the company continues to thrive.

Made from Red Wine, Herbs and Fruit – this vermouth-style aperitif is sweeter than many others, making it a superb choice for the Classic Martinez Cocktail, or great drunk neat, chilled, in a wine glass.

Tasting Notes

Lillet Rouge is ruby red, made from merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes. It smells and tastes of grape soda, vanilla, and orange. Its bitter notes are more substantial and lasting.
