Les Peyrautins Pinot Noir Rosé 75 CL

Pays d’Oc – France

This is good, southern French rosé from the pinot noir grape; the wine is so well made that the refined character of the grape is intact in a rounded, tasty wine that is pleasantly dry.

Les Peyrautins Rosé is an easy drinking, unpretentious and enjoyable size. It is neither violent nor dramatic, but on the other hand elegant and charming, kept in a pleasantly dry style with creamy touches.

The grapes mainly come from the catchment area of the fortified southwestern French city, Carcassonne, which is not only geopolitically strategic, but also climatically favorable for wine growing. An otherwise warm Mediterranean climate is tempered here by cooling winds from the Atlantic, Cers from the north and Marin from the Mediterranean, which at the same time significantly reduces the need to use pesticides.

This rosé version of pinot noir is delicate salmon in color with berry aromas of strawberry, watermelon with floral notes, a creamy, light body and silky finish.

Restrained 13% alcohol dampens the mood and, together with the gentle fruit, it makes for a distinctly easy-drinking wine.

On warm days, the wine is enjoyed ice-cold so that it appears appetizing, while with food it should be served at around 8-11°.
