Hampden Estate 8 Years Old is a Jamaican Rome from one of the Caribbean’s oldest and most famous distilleries. On the Hampden, a characteristic, fruity and vigorous style is produced, which is highly loved by spirits worldwide. This new, official Hampden bottling has ticked in all the right fields: The room is stored exclusively in the tropics (8 years) and is tapped at 46% alcohol without the addition of sugar or dye – it is difficult to get closer to Rome-Nirvana!
Color: Deep gold.
Fragrance: In front there is fadnotes like burned oak, vanilla and nellike. Behind the characteristic notes of tropical fruit, but mastered for a hemp.
Taste notes: Burned banana, vanilla and pineapple. Also nicely with American oak in the long aftertaste.
