Garnish Island Gin 70 CL 46%

Irish West Cork Distillers Gin

Garnish is the name of a small island next to the city of Glengarriff in the Bay Bantry Bay. Located in the southwest of Ireland and about 90 km west of Cork.
Garnish Island was sold by the Irish War Counsil after World War II. The island was then purchased and investment banks, which got an Italian landscape architect and botanist to beplant the island.
Due to the location in the middle of the golf stream, there is a pale climate than otherwise at the same latitude, which means that other plants can also grow here. The flora of Garnish Island is therefore unique and Garnish Island Gin uses ingredients from the local area on the island. The island itself is now a nature reserve and truly worth a visit if you are in the area.

The ingredients count eg. Hibiscus, Iris Rod, Rosenblade, Cocoa (notes of dark chocolate), lemon, rosemary, thyme, as well as notes of strawberries. This is, of course, besides juniper. The whole batch distiller in a copper sheet.

Mage Floral, floral lovely gin.

Garnish Island is bottled by 46% and it is not cold filtered. Therefore, it has plenty of taste and essential oils, which can make it opallize slightly (becomes foggy or milky white) when mixed with tonic / ice / etc.
