Description of a dietary for men
The former winner of “the hunt for Denmark’s best recipe”, Martin North Distance, is out with the book “A Men” diet “. Since Martin is a true lifeloder, his habits have set themselves on the side legs. He knew he had to do something about his weight when one day he was up and weighing over 100 kg.

When he is a former dietary counselor for healthcare and educated chef and nutrition consultant, he decided to make his own diet plan, who should suit his habits. Martin went from weighing 105 kg to 83 kg by following this diet plan and therefore he chose to publish it as a book. He saw that many diet plans were based on eating vegetables and skyr and primarily aimed at women, but Martin believes that men’s general food taste goes in the direction of meat based dishes.

“To help someone lose weight, one must understand their taste and needs. If a flesh-loving man must lose weight with a diet based on vegetables and skyr, then the chance of success is simply too small “.

Martin denotes that his book can easily be used by women too. It is just about lifestyle, habits and preferences for food.

When the author is great advocate of wine, of course, this should also be part of his book. All recipes come with a vineyard. For Martin, the wine was nothing he could do without and has therefore used it as a means in the diet plan. He drinks wine for the food as a form of gain while fighting weight loss. In this way you will easily lose weight without feeling missing something. Martin adds that the wine can easily be replaced with chocolate or beer if you prefer this.

Short about me

I am a trained chef, somelier and nutrition consultant, and have previously worked as a dietary supervisor. The last 10 years I have worked as a wine consultant for East Jutland wine supply and Sigurd Müller wine trade, and pr. May 1 2021 I start as a consultant in Philipson Wine (Horeca and B2B).

In 2013, I released the wine book “About Vin & Food and what works” and in 2019 I won Meny and Masterchef’s competition “The hunt for Denmark’s best recipe”.

My fight against the kilos

When I was 16, I suddenly weighed 95 kilos and decided to lose me. I threw 25 kilos of three months, and kept the weight roughly quite to I hit the 40th so something happened – I became more comfortable, and seemed I should “have allowed me”. In the spring 2020, I suddenly weighed 105 kilos, and then it should be over. I decided to make a cure who contained lots of lean meat and I couldn’t do without my beloved wine. It became the cure that I would like to share in my new book.

Short about the cure

My dieting is a protein ride with very little fat in (opposite Keto / LCHF where you eat very fat and zero carbohydrates). During the day you eat rye bread and for evening you eat approx. 300 g of lean meat with vegetables and eg skinny sauce. And then you have to drink 2 glasses dry wine every night (250 ml). As mentioned, the book contains a full diet with alternatives for breakfast, lunch and mellemade as well as 30 recipes for tasty, satisfactory dinner.

Women can of course also use the cure – in that case they just settle for 200 g of meat and 1 glass of wine per day.
