Appleton Estate 21 Years 70 CL 43%

Jamaica Premium Aged Rum

Appleton Estate 21 Year Old is one of the most important Rommer in the company’s portfolio. Master Blender Joy Spence closely selects the fade that are allowed to enter into this exclusive bottling. They are all stored at least 21 years in Jamaica’s tropical climate, but some of the components are also older. It is tapped at 43% and is not added sugar.

Color: copper golden.
Fragrance: Powerful but also delicate scent of vanilla, honeysuckle, cocoa, coffee and nutmeg.
Taste noises: long and refined taste of brown farin, cocoa, vanilla and other spices, a touch of stone fruit and, far out on the horizon, burnt oak.

Serving suggestions: should be enjoyed clean.

Appleton Estate is one of Jamaica’s main rummarks. The company holds in Nassau Valley in St. Elizabeth Parish, and can track room production back to 1749 – and not much has changed since then.

Five large pot stills dominate Appleton’s Still Room, but also use column boilers. The room is stored on 40-gallon dishes of American whites, located in different stocks around Jamaica. The store is not centralized in one place, in order to avoid the entire inventory being wiped out if a natural disaster should hit. Joy Spence is the world-famous Master Blender, which, according to Appleton, also has the honor of being the world’s first female master blender.

Under Appleton, the distiller also hears New Yarmouth, which until you was quite newly unrelated, but today is the heavy Rome from New Yarmouth’s pot still some of the most sought after in the room market. The majority is supposed to give taste to various blends from Appleton and other brands, and is therefore rarely tapped under the New Yarmouth name, even if the distiller is greater than Appleton.
