Amrut Spectrum 004 is a Limited Edition Single Malt Whiskey from Bangalore in India. It starts life on bourbon dishes, like most Amrut whiskeies, but from here it becomes strange: Finish is on custom-made dishes, which is composed of 4 different kinds of spells: by new American oak with “level 3 charring” (a powerful charging), of French oak with light toasting, from Oloroso Sherryfade and from Pedro Ximenez-Sherryfade. Amrut is a family owned distillery in Bangalore in India. Here you started making Maltwhisky already back in the 1980s. The building is grown in northern India and Maltes in Jaipur and Delhi before it is fermented and distilled at Amrett in Bangalore. You also use a little smoked malt imported from Scotland.
